Mi nombre es Pia. El 13 de enero celebré mi cumpleaños en Madre Selva, gracias a las reservaciones que hizo mi hijo, y desde el primer momento quedé profundamente encantada con toda la experiencia. Desde que entramos, el host nos recibió con un ritual lleno de cariño, que me transportó a los tiempos de nuestro querido Perú. Las meseras fueron muy atentas y queridas, siempre pendientes de cada detalle. El menú personalizado con mi nombre me pareció un gesto precioso y muy especial para alguien como yo, que ama los detalles. Los pisco sour con auténtico sabor peruano y la comida —diferente, deliciosa y con raciones muy adecuadas para un restaurante gourmet— nos sorprendieron gratamente. Comimos de todo un poco, queríamos probar cada sabor, y cada plato tenía su encanto. La chef, cuyo nombre no recuerdo, fue sumamente amable y me regaló un octopus con olive leche de tigre que me hizo recordar a una tía en Perú que preparaba una salsa parecida, aunque sin limón, solo con aceituna. Ese sabor me tocó el corazón. Algo que nos encantó fue ver que casi todo el equipo es peruano. Da gusto ver a nuestros compatriotas representando tan bien nuestra gastronomía. Y para cerrar con broche de oro, las fotos por mi cumpleaños fueron un detalle hermoso que guardaré con mucho cariño. Soy una mujer que ama los detalles, y por eso —y por mucho más— recomiendo Madre Selva para cualquier ocasión especial. Ojalá sigan siendo tan lindos, atentos y auténticos como hasta ahora. Gracias a todo el equipo por sus atenciones.

Absolutely loved our experience at this Peruvian gem in Atlanta! The food was phenomenal, the decor charming, and the overall atmosphere made for a truly memorable visit. I brought my mother along, knowing she's a big ceviche fan, and she was absolutely amazed---trying several different dishes, drinks, and desserts, each bursting with bold, new flavors that delighted our taste buds. We hadn't even left before we were already planning our next visit! Can't wait to come back and create more memories with her---and the rest of our family---while savoring even more incredible flavors. Thank you for bringing a wonderful taste of Peru to Atlanta!

So excited to have such an elevated peruvian restaurant in Atlanta. Loved the decor, the ceviche met all expectations ( all peruvians here) the pisco sours were balanced and perfect ratio of foam. Cant wait for my next visit
Ceviche Carretillero
I'm Peruvian and have been living in Atlanta for 25 years, and what I miss the most from home is our amazing Peruvian food. It took 25 years, but I can finally say I've found a place that truly reminds me of the flavors from back home. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and nothing has disappointed. The ceviche carretillero and the pisco sour are the best. Thank you, Madre Selva, for bringing me closer to my hometown.

Ceviche Carretillero
I went to Madre Selva for the ceviche making class and to say I was blown away is an understatement! The whole experience, from the time I entered the restaurant to the time I left, was so wonderful. The hostess had me do a traditional handwashing, and when I was seated, I was given a complimentary oyster and champagne. Then, we proceeded to get a history of Pisco and made our own cocktails. Afterwards, our Chef showed us how to make ceviche and walked us through the process. It was truly one of the best hands-on classes I've ever taken in Atlanta, and the food was delicious. I cannot wait to go back for a full meal! Thank you all!
