Executive Chef Mayra Dominguez

Madre Selva | Latin Coastal & Peruvian Cuisine

Behind every menu at Madre Selva is Executive Chef Mayra Dominguez, whose culinary journey spans more than two decades across Peru, New York, and Atlanta. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Perú, Chef Mayra built her foundation in the traditions of Peruvian cuisine before refining her craft in some of New York City's most respected kitchens. Her experiences working alongside acclaimed chefs and in high-performing culinary environments shaped the discipline, technique, and creativity that define her approach today.

Since joining Madre Selva in 2024 and becoming Executive Chef in 2025, Chef Mayra has helped shape the restaurant into one of Atlanta's most celebrated dining destinations. Her menus honor Peru's coastal culinary traditions while embracing Nikkei influences, seasonal ingredients, and the vibrant energy that defines the Madre Selva experience.

For Chef Mayra, every dish is an opportunity to share a piece of her story. Rooted in tradition and guided by curiosity, her cooking is designed not only to nourish, but to transport, connect, and create lasting memories around the table.
